Livingston 12-year gap bridged

-

Usually an international break wouldn’t affect Livingston, but now we’re back in the big time, it did. For the first time since David Mcnamee in 2006, the club had someone called up to a national team – Steve Lawson of Togo, showing how far we’ve come from playing League 1 football two seasons ago.

With a well-deserved break after a brilliant start, the Lions now welcome Hamilton for a huge game for both clubs, even this early in the season. Gary Holt will be looking to continue his fine start, with two wins from two, aiming to stretch the gap between us and the bottom two. He seems the perfect fit. Like David Hopkin, he’s got us back to doing what we do best, fighting for the jersey. As a fan, you can’t ask for more.
