Brewing up a storm: Microbrewer to target international expansion
Gluten-free beer maker Bellfield Brewery is targeting £1 million in funding from new and existing investors, with the latter including angel syndicate Equity Gap and the Scottish Investment Bank, to accelerate global sales. The Edinburgh-based brewer exports to the likes of Singapore, UAE, Malta and Switzerland,and is eyeing growth in markets such as France and the US. Its beers are available in 350 outlets in the UK. Founder and director Alistair Brown said: “Our aim is to become the leading gluten-free brewery in the world.”
