Ross County Steady progress

- John Maxwell

Another comfortable home win keeps the momentum going into what could be a crucial run of fixtures. Ross County started so brightly against Raith Rovers, despite a stunning Lewis Vaughan free-kick crashing against the crossbar early on. Even if that had gone in, I think that County would have come out well on top based on the first-half performance.

Rovers tended to sit off County to retain a compact 4-1-4-1 shape in the beginning, but it gave County time to build attacks from deeper areas and allowed the home side to create a number of opportunities from both flanks. Brian Graham was the one to capitalise on that most of all, with four goals to cap a fine performance. County are ticking over nicely at the moment.
