Inverness Caley Thistle Time for ticket talks
Ticket prices are a frequent topic of discussion in football circles. Most regular fans try to go down the season ticket route with the benefits that brings. Pay as you go can work out very costly. Clubs do mostly try to get more folk through their gates with various schemes including the “pay what you want” that we tried in Inverness.
However, the subject of tickets for international matches has raised its ugly head. What should have been a glamour friendly against Belgium was very poorly attended. It seems tickets were £35 plus booking fee and fans voted with their feet. With Hampden safe for now, it must be time for a review into how we go forward with international matches. Sensible ticket pricing needs to be part of that conversation.
