Arrest after woman seriously injured in attack
A woman has sustained serious injuries in an attack in Glasgow.
The 31-year-old was taken to hospital after being attacked in a property in the city’s southside.
The incident happened at around midday yesterday.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police were called to a report of a woman having being seriously assaulted at a property on Newlands Road.
“The woman was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. A 58-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident and inquiries are continuing.”
