Beaumont launches Edinburgh cycle scheme

-

Ultra-endurance cyclist Mark Beaumont has unveiled Edinburgh’s city cycle scheme.

The Just Eat-sponsored initiative will see 200 bikes for hire stationed at 19 locations throughout the city.

All the bicycles have given names that reflect Scotland’s history and culture, including Sherlock and Greyfriar.

Mr Beaumont, an Edinburgh resident who last year cycled around the world in 79 days, said: “Launching Just Eat Cycles is an exciting step for Edinburgh and the people who live, visit and study here. The app is very simple to use and the bikes will allow everyone to explore our great city.” Equity Release may involve a home reversion plan or a lifetime mortgage, which is secured against your property. To understand the features and risks, ask for your personalised illustration. Any money released, plus accrued interest would be repaid upon death, or moving into long-term care.

This equity release service is provided by Age Partnership, who provide initial advice for free and without obligation. Only if you choose to proceed and your case completes would a fee of 1.95% of the amount released be payable (minimum £1,495).

Based on the number of Equity Release plans arranged from Oct - Dec 2017.
