Sound investment: Motherwell Concert Hall among venues receiving funding
Three Lanarkshire attractions are investing more than £4 million following a series of funding grants. The Scottish Wildlife Trust’s Falls of Clyde Wildlife Reserve, Drumpellier Country Park and Motherwell Concert Hall, pictured, are putting the money towards increasing the quality of their attractions in a bid to increase visitor numbers. This supports a strategy outlined by the Lanarkshire Area Tourism Partnership, which sets out aspirations for the tourism industry in the area by 2020. Motherwell Concert Hall has pumped £170,000 into new sound equipment.
