Lennon looks to clinch deal for Dutch full-back Nelom
Hibernian are poised to sign Dutch internationalist Miquel Nelom.
The 27-year-old is out of contract after leaving Feyenoord in the summer and was linked with a possible move to Celtic last year.
The left-back, who has been capped twice by the Netherlands, came through the ranks at Feyenoord and played over 150 times for the Eredivisie giants.
However, after Birmingham City considered a move for the defender in January, he saw out his time at the club on loan at Sparta Rotterdam, where he played under former Rangers manager Dick Advocaat.
It is understood Hibs boss Neil Lennon is interested in the player and a deal could be concluded this week.
The Easter Road outfit have relied on stalwart Lewis Stevenson at left-back in recent seasons, but Nelom would provide experienced competition, with the Dutchman having played in the Champions League and Europa League during seven seasons with Feyenoord.
