It would perhaps appear to be a bit paranoid to note the link between the club commenting to the press about the loss of trust between clubs and officials and the failure of the referee on Saturday to give certain decisions our way.

Not wanting to steal others’ “paranoid” tag, we’ll just put it down to coincidence – if a very timely one.

There remains a concern, though, in relation to the actions of the powers that be. It really is a puzzle to decipher what the authorities are doing and you have to assume that Kilmarnock have somehow upset some people in a past life. It is pointless, though, to try to make sense of the whole thing and the best course of action might be simply to put your head down and wait for it all to blow over.
