Queen of the South Positive point

After scoring 12 goals in our previous three games, Saturday’s match against Ross County saw a different but equally positive side to Queens. It was an organised and disciplined display. For a goalless draw it was quite entertaining, with both teams trying for the three points but just unable to get the better of their well-matched opponents.

As the away side I suppose it was probably a better result for County but it is a point we almost certainly wouldn’t have gained last season when we were a much more fragile outfit, who found new ways to throw points away on an almost weekly basis. To have matched, and perhaps slightly edged, one of the league favourites for 90 minutes bodes well for the campaign.
