Falkirk Back the manager
The definition of a game of two halves could be based on Falkirk’s match away to Ayr at the weekend. A very dominant first-half display by the Bairns was undone by a combination of poor refereeing and costly individual errors.
The lack of confidence showed amongst the players with conceding an early goal in the second half. What the travelling fans had to endure for the following 15 minutes was not easy to watch, as we squandered our two-goal lead to find ourselves 3-2 down. Ray Mckinnon’s postmatch interview suggests our new manager is in the hunt for new players. There is no question the squad needs strengthened. The board have to back the manager in his quest to turn our league season around.
