Morton Belief is back

- Andrew Ward

A new era began at Tannadice this week. A large Greenock contingent made their way to Dundee to watch Jonatan Johansson’s first match as manager, in the hope that the chaos of previous weeks was firmly behind the club.

And within minutes, it was clear to see “he who shall not be named”, along with his snake ways, had been put firmly behind us. Against a strong United side, Morton came flying out the blocks taking the game to the Tangerines. Michael Tidser continued to do what Michael Tidser always does and dominated the midfield, netting from the penalty spot in the process. A late sucker-blow would deny Johansson his first win as manager, but the confidence and belief is firmly back amongst the Greenock faithful.
