Convention to feature ‘first Scots superhero’

The latest graphic novel about a comic book character dubbed “Scotland’s first superhero” is to be launched at the largest Scottish comic conference.

Saltire is a creation of Glaswegian John Ferguson. The comics are published by St Andrews’ Diamond-steel Comics.

First printed more than two years ago, the comics follow Saltire’s encounters with Saxons, Romans, Highland clan warriors and also supernatural beings.

The new graphic novel will be unveiled at the weekend’s Glasgow Comic Con.
