Jobs lost as steel firm goes under

A steel fabrication firm which employed 16 staff in Glenrothes and East Yorkshire has gone into administration and ceased trading with immediate effect.

Pipe & Piling Supplies, which specialised in the rail infrastruture sector, had been forced to make ten staff redundant in recent weeks with the remaining six now also losing their jobs after insolvency firm FRP Advisory was appointed as administrators.
