Appeal after youths involved in disturbance

Police Scotland is appealing for information following a disturbance involving a number of youths in Alness.

The incident happened in the Academy Road area of the town at around 10pm on Thursday. A boy in his late teens required treatment at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for facial injuries.

Constable Elaine Nicolson said: “We do not tolerate violent behaviour of this kind.”
