Mediterranean music: Captain Corelli’s author hits high note
British novelist Louis de Bernieres, famed for writing Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, sang at yesterday’s Wigtown Book Festival. The author has released an album called ‘The Songs of Louis de Bernieres with The Bookshop Band Volume 1’.
