Multellie was an all-the-way winner of the feature race on the final meeting of the year at Hamilton Park.
The well-backed 7-2 jointfavourite stormed home by five lengths from Jacbequick in the #proudtobedreammaker Veterans’ Handicap.
Winning jockey David Allan said: “That’s what he can do when he gets an easy lead and it was a decent performance. He won a big race here a couple of years ago off a higher mark and this has been quite a lucky track for me.”
Borders trainer Katie Scott saddled her first winner on the Flat when Rockley Point made virtually all the running in the Watch Race Replays at Racing Uk.com Handicap.
Miss Scott, who is based between Galashiels and Selkirk, said: “He’s my only Flat horse although there is another one coming soon! He’s been astarsincehecametousand this is his first win on turf. We’re looking forward to the jumpers really getting going and hopefully Rockley Point will run again soon too.”
