Hamilton Accies No complacency

That was an unexpected treat. Fresh from their commendable point against Celtic, I thought St Mirren would be difficult opposition on Saturday. The reality was different as an impressive Accies strolled to a comprehensive win.

While Mikel Miller grabbed the glory with a couple of goals, there were great performances throughout the team, with Steven Boyd, Matt Kilgallon and Aaron Mcgowan the pick of the bunch. We now have a chance of extending our lead over Dundee to nine points at the weekend and that would represent a decent start to the season. Of course, it’s fine for fans like me to think about that prospect, but you can be sure Martin Canning will be guarding against misplaced complacency ahead of this massive game. These are the games that really count.
