Aberdeen A question of balance

-

The win against Motherwell at the weekend was important because it stopped, if not a slide, at least a stall that had developed since the early weeks of the season.

It was also important in building some sort of momentum for going into last night’s game against Hibs. Trips to Easter Road have never been easy even if results suggest otherwise and, given Hibs’ performance last season overall, it was never going to be an easy tie.

While many felt the cups would be our focus for success again this season, and it may still be that a cup victory is possible, the slow start in the league by the big teams must give hope that we can again mount a credible league campaign – if we can just get the final best 11 and the balance of the team worked out.
