The SNP is letting us all down with Scotland having a falling life expectancy (your report, 26 September). After 11 years of closing the attainment gap, taking money from the “rich” to give to the poor, banning cheap alcohol, leading the way on cutting tobacco and sugar consumptio­n, and cleaning the air via renewable power sources, nothing seems to have worked.
