Queen of the South Mid-table form

With a return of only one point from our last two games, what was looking like a good start to the season is now resembling more of an average one. The picture will of course be much clearer once we have played everybody, but our record of two wins, two draws and two defeats thus far is very much mid-table form and not good enough for our desired position in the top four.

Looking at the positives, our last two games have been against the two relegated sides and we’ve acquitted ourselves well. We probably edged the game against Ross County and could make a strong case for deserving a draw against Partick. There is no point dwelling on the points we should have won though. Good sides ensure they go home with the points they deserve.
