Partick Thistle Attack passes test

Saturday was a vital three points for the Jags against a very tough Queen of the South team.

Whilst it was a narrow 3-2 win it still remains a worry that teams are being given goals by our defence at one end, but it’s encouraging the way we are opening up teams going forward.

The most pleasing aspect of the three goals we scored is that every member of the starting XI was involved in at least one of the goals. It’s been said before that you can’t pass your way through teams in this league but we seem to be having no problem in doing just that.

The fact that we are starting to take our chances is bailing out a defence that hasn’t realised Christmas is still three months away for giving out presents!
