Man arrested as woman’s body found at house

A man has been arrested as part of a murder inquiry into the death of a woman in Glasgow.

Police were called to a house on Dewar Drive in the city’s Drumchapel area about 6:45pm on Wednesday where a body was found.

Officers are treating the 51-year-old’s death as murder. A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out.

A 57-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Detective Inspector Scott Mccallum said: “Officers are currently making doorto-door inquiries.”
