Chinese president marks Martyrs’ Day at Tiananmen Square

0 China’s president Xi Jinping, front centre, followed by high-ranking officials, walks towards the Monument to the People’s Heroes during a ceremony marking Martyrs’ Day in Tiananmen Square in Beijing. Mr Xi and other national leaders presented baskets of flowers and scores of ordinary people filed up to lay a single flower each.
