Aye phone: First Minister poses for selfie as she backs disabled charity project
Nicola Sturgeon stops for a selfie with members of the Wheeling for Change group – a £300,000 project to transform the lives of young disabled people in Scotland. The project, delivered by national disabled children’s charity Whizz-kidz and supported by players of the National Lottery, aims to reduce social isolation, build aspirations, and increase independence among young wheelchair users in Scotland. Project members Eilidh Gibb, Caitlyn Fulton, Joshua Millar, Rian Hiney, Natalie Bell and Harry Stratton joined the First Minister in Edinburgh yesterday afteroon to celebrate the lottery award.
