CLARIFICATIONS & CORRECTIONS

-

In our story yesterday, “Crown Office Has Betrayed Sheku, Says His Sister ”, we stated that the Pirc “filed a report on his death in August 2016 after putting a number of officers on paid leave”. In fact, the Police Investigations & Review Commissioner has no authority to put officers on paid leave. We apologise for the error.

It is the policy of The Scotsman to correct errors as soon as is practicable.
