Man with tattoos forgets who he is

Police are trying to trace the family of a mystery man who took ill in a cathedral – and cannot remember who he is.

The man, who is in his 60s, has been unidentified for nearlytwoweeksandisbeingtreated at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

The patient is described as being white, with a medium build, short strawberry blond hair and bluish green eyes and glasses. He has four tattoos.

The man has no memory of his identity, does not know where he came from or who his relatives are.
