St Mirren Goal drought
Last season, Saints were known for their incisive and often unrelenting attacking performances but it has barely translated into Premiership form so far. Another game without registering a goal, the Buddies’s last one coming courtesy of Hearts defender Jimmy Dunne.
There have been improvements to chance creation, Paul Mcginn being particularly unlucky not to level things up against Hibernian. However, with three goals scored after 270 minutes of football, the chances of putting them away could be some way off. The games do not get much easier for Oran Kearney, with an almost impossible test at Pittodrie coming up next. Sadly it will likely not be until January when he starts to put his stamp on the team.
