Ross gets cross

-

Scottish Conservative MP Ross Thomson has launched a broadside on members of his own party amid a deepening row among Tories about the influence of Boris Johnson. Mr Thomson, the MP for Aberdeen South, lashed out at his MP colleagues as Tories loyal to Prime Minister Theresa May stepped up their attacks on former Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, of whom Mr Thomson is a fan.

The suggestion that Scottish Tories can gang-up on Boris Johnson to allow Ruth Davidson to take over the rapidly imploding Holyrood is not acceptable to Ross Thomson. It is not acceptable to me or, I’m sure, the majority of UK citizens either. Ross has drive and gumption by the bucket-load. He’s more useful to us than Ruth and all of Holyrood.

Hoditanddodit Boris Johnson may appeal to a certain faction within the Conservatives but he is unelectable and that’s with Corbyn leading Labour! If May is ousted there are much more palatable candidates than Boris.
