Jewellery shines Ramsden’s sales
Pawnbroker Ramsdens is on track for a solid half-year performance despite a hit to foreign exchange sales after the summer’s heatwave led to a boom in Britons choosing a holiday in the UK, or “staycation”.
The group said its jewellery business was set to deliver double-digit sales growth over the first half, with a good showing also from its pawnbroking, financial services and precious metal buying divisions.
