Ross County Cutting edge

-

As poor as Dundee United were on Saturday, Ross County were terrific. Billy Mckay looked back to his best and I can see him going on a scoring streak now.

Mckay showed so much confidence in front of goal again but he was helped massively by the rest of the team’s ability to cut the opposition open. The midfield balance was spot on and Josh Mullin was particularly dangerous down the right. Every cross that was put in was like a hand grenade thrown into United’s box – some of the opposition defending wasn’t always the best but the incision that County had to their play is very encouraging. A visit to Firhill this Saturday is a chance to make another statement of intent for promotion.
