Ayr United Moore the merrier

It was another three points for the Honest Men on Saturday against Morton, taking Ayr two points clear at the top of the league. It was a great performance by Ayr and an excellent result.

In the second half, Morton missed a penalty with Ross Doohan making the save. The game changed in the 63rd minute when Ian Mccall brought on Craig Moore and Craig Mcguffie. Moore has been on the bench for a while now and certainly made a huge impact when he came on. Moore went on to score two of the five goals for United with Lawrence Shankland and Declan Mcdaid getting the others. With the impact that Moore made it is sure to get Mccall thinking about his team selection ahead of Saturday’s game against Dundee United. Mon Ayr!
