Falkirk Monkey off Ray’s back

-

It has taken seven league games but the Bairns have finally acquired their first three points of the season. Our win came at the expense of fellow strugglers Alloa, who could also be in for a long, hard season. It was a massive win in many ways for Falkirk as Ray Mckinnon got the best out of his side and got the monkey off his back.

The midfield still has a huge question mark hanging over it as there is a lack of quality compared to previous years. This may be all about to change though as Mckinnon has made his first Falkirk signing in the way of free agent Prince Buaben. The 30-year-old midfielder is a welcome addition to our squad with his Championship experience and wealth of ability. Saturday’s derby match isn’t quite as daunting any more.
