-

A man has been charged after an assistant referee was struck with a coin during Rangers’ defeat at Livingston last weekend.

Police said they had received an “overwhelming” response after appealing for information over the Tony Macaroni Arena incident on Sunday.

Calum Spence received treatment for a wound to the back of his head after being struck by an object while running the line in front of the Rangers supporters. The arrested man is due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court today.
