‘Local’ man sought after serious assault
Images have been released of a man police want to find over a serious assault in South Lanarkshire.
A 33-year-old man was left with serious facial injuries after he was attacked as he was crossing Castlemilk Road, near Kingsbridge Drive in Rutherglen at 2:20pm on 14 January.
The man officers want to speak to has been described as being aged between 30 and 40, 6ft tall, of medium build and he has a local accent.
Police Constable Alan Smith has urged the man to get in contact. “We believe he may be able to assist us in this inquiry,” he said.
