Bid specialist AM on track for £1m revenue goal

0 David Sole is a former Grand Slam winning rugby captain AM Bid Services, the bid specialist chaired by Scots rugby legend David Sole, has unveiled record full-year revenues.

The Edinburgh-based firm said it had achieved £729,000 in sales in the year to the end of September, a 57 per cent increase on the year before. Net profits were described as “stable”.

Since its launch in 2014, the business consultanc­y has grown to become a key industry player with nine permanent members of staff and 15 associates covering the UK and Ireland.

The firm provides bid writing, strategy and training services across more than 20 different sectors.

Founder and managing director Andrew Morrison said the company was on track to achieve its goal of £1 million in revenue by 2019.

“I’m delighted to announce this 57 per cent increase in revenue, which puts us bang on track with our growth plan of £1m in turnover by 2019,” he said. “What’s more, we are consistent­ly achieving bid win rates of 80 per cent for our clients.

“With all the signs pointing towards an increase in demand for outsourcin­g bids and tenders, AM Bid’s future appears to be very bright indeed.”

Clients include Jewson and cleaning firm Spotless.
