18 October Comicsopol­is - launching Dundee’s new comics:

Chris Murray, the world’s first professor of comic studies, launches Superhuman Futures, a new comic exploring the links between link between the research, creative work and teaching being developed at Dundee University.

18 October Street food (over 18s only):

Dundee University’s school of life science joins forces with local producers makers to explore the current links between food and science, and which direction the snacks of the future may go in.

19 October Droid programmin­g challenge (Age 8-15):

Youngsters will get the chance to either join the Resistance or the First Order by learning to programme Star Wars droids to get them to complete a series of challenges.

19 October Dr Kate Stone and Be Charlotte:

Singer Charlotte Brimner, who is better known as Be Charlotte, and her scientist aunt, Dr Kate Stone, explore new ways of making music, new instrument­s and new ways of using technology.

20 October Animation and digital design (age 14 plus):

A chance to experiment with futuristic clothing and character concepts by designing the workwear of the future using 3D animation techniques.

21 October Who runs the world? Girls. The future of feminism:

Writers Jaimini Jethwa and Ajay Close, and artist and academic Janice Aitken look at how far feminism has come, what modern-day women can and should do, and what the future may hold in the post#metoo era.
