Attempted robbery at newsagents

Police are investigating after an attempted robbery in Aberdeen.

The incident occurred on Saturday at around 10.55am at Mccoll’s on Hayton Road.

Detective Constable Nicky Clark said: “Thankfully no one was hurt in this incident, and the perpetrator was unsuccessful in obtaining any property.

“We continue to follow positive lines of enquiry and appeal to anyone with information to contact Police on 101 providing reference number PS20181006-1489 or alternatively call Crime stoppers on 0800 555111.”
