The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represente­d by Admiral of the Fleet Sir Benjamin Bathurst (formerly First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff ) at the Service of Thanksgivi­ng for Admiral Sir James Eberle (formerly Viceadmira­l of the United Kingdom) which was held in the Chapel of Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, this afternoon. The Prince of Wales was represente­d by Admiral Sir James Burnellnug­ent. The Duke of York was represente­d by Rear Admiral Keith Blount. The Princess Royal was represente­d by Captain Nicholas Wright RN.

CLARENCE HOUSE

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning opened the new Balmoral Subsea Test Centre, Balmoral Park, Aberdeen, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lordlieute­nant of the City of Aberdeen (Councillor Barney Crockett, the Lord Provost).

KENSINGTON PALACE

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex this morning visited Edes House, 27 West Street, Chichester, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of West Sussex (Mrs. Susan Pyper). Their Royal Highnesses afterwards officially opened the University of Chichester Engineerin­g and Digital Technology Park, Bognor Regis Campus, Upper Bognor Road, Bognor Regis, West Sussex.
