Pair charged in connection with village death

Two people have appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman in Fife.

Claire Turnbull, 36, was found dead at Rintoul Avenue, Blairhall, about 7:30pm on Friday.

A 27-year-old man and 29-year-old woman were arrested by police and appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court yesterday.

Aaron Donald and Laura Mcmurdo were both charged with murder and made no plea during the private hearing.

The pair, from Dunfermline, were remanded in custody, with the case committed for further examination.
