£350k boost for charities from bank foundation
Six Lothians charities have been handed a share of a £350,000 funding pot from the Bank of Scotland foundation.
Leith-based youth development trust Venture Scotland were the region’s largest beneficiaries, netting £25,000 from the fund, while Midlothian Young People’s Advice Service also received just over £24,000.
The fund was set up to help support mental health charities and other projects focussing on mental health. IWORK4ME received £17,000, while Edinburgh Young Carers was granted £14,000.
