Call for answers after falcon dies from poisoning
A peregrine falcon found dead on the ouskirts of Edinburgh in May was poisoned, it has emerged.
However, police investigating the death say no further action will be taken.
The incident has sparked calls for answers.
Alison Johnstone, Scottish Green MSP for Lothian, said: “That a protected species could be killed using a deadly poison in a regional park that is visited by over half a million people every year is shocking.”
