Aviva CEO Mark Wilson to depart

Aviva boss Mark Wilson is to stand down after more than five years at the helm, as the group hailed the completion of a successful turnaround.

Wilson will leave his executive role immediately, the FTSE 100 insurer said, but remain with the group until April 2019 while a successor is appointed. Chair Sir Adrian Montaguewillassumeexecutive responsibilities while Aviva launches the hunt for a new CEO.
