Motherwell Boss must share blame
Going into the last international break we had stabilised our bad start, progressed in the cup and moved up the table. Now we are at the next pause, winless in five and devoid of confidence. Stephen Robinson therefore has plenty to mull over. There is scarcely an area of the team which does not prompt concern and, sadly, his management is not exempt from that assessment.
Everyone acknowledges players and coaches will make mistakes. But time to fix them is conditional on them being admitted and Robinson seems unwilling or unable – publicly at least – to concede why we are in this situation.
Our next three matches are home to St Johnstone and Dundee with a trip to St Mirren in between. Improvement is a must for Robinson.
