St Johnstone Usual strengths lacking

Saints put in the worst performance in a long time against Celtic and lacked commitment and organisation – their usual strengths. The champions grew in confidence and scored goals for fun before switching to holiday mode.

The last four opponents were not those most teams in the league would have chosen to face in succession. The coming games will be a proper test and determine how the season may pan out.
