Is there such a thing as an unbeaten run outstaying its welcome? It is certainly a question that some ICTFC fans are starting to ask as we go 19 games unbeaten in the Championship. However, the football has become safe and boring and it looks like the team are too scared to lose which stops them risking going for the win.

At least it wasn’t 0-0 on Saturday past but it was another draw. It could have been three points, however, if not for a wonder save by the Morton goalkeeper so maybe the unbeaten run isn’t to blame. The international break may have come at a good time for us then with the chance for some recuperation and recovery. Hopefully some more entertaining football to follow when we return.
