Falkirk Gutless display

As a Falkirk supporter all of my life, for the majority of it I have proudly watched my team chew up and spit out our arch rivals Dunfermline. I have watched my beloved Bairns thrash them with ease at Brockville, East End Park and very satisfyingly at the National Stadium.

Losing to Dunfermline is not something I am used to or expect to get used too. Even with the poorest Falkirk side in recent memory I still think winning is the ‘natural order’. But through gritted teeth I cannot take anything away from the Pars as they strolled to a 2-0 win. This was an embarrassing and gutless display by the Bairns. At one point a fellow fan said ‘even when we’re first to the ball we’re still second’! I laughed and sighed – we were awful.
