Peanut peril
I wonder if they’ll be under pressure from the SNP not to field candidates in marginal seats. Their actions at the last general election were a disgrace and probably saved half a dozen separatists from losing their seats.
Enough is enough
You wonder? Do you really, because no-one else has any doubts.

Vote Greens get SNP, remember the “No second referendum until a majority want it.”
Dave Smith
The voting system urgently needs changing to limit the number of list seats that can be gained if your constituency vote is very small. The Greens command more seats than the Lib Dems despite the Lib Dems’ constituency vote being vastly superior, and the Green constituency vote tiny. The Greens are effectively the SNP reserve team, giving one party two key seat counting votes, abusing the intended purpose of the List vote, thus gaming the voting system.
Richard Richardson Why doesn’t Harvie actually stand for election himself as opposed to being a permanent list MSP? Of course, the answer is he would be out of Holyrood, unemployed and have to find himself a real job.

Too late for this family, but perhaps if every baby received tiny amounts of such foods from day one tolerance and resistance would build up? I have heard/ read of such possibilities.
Andy Mac
If food businesses add known allergens like peanuts without labelling them and someone has a bad allergic reaction then the business should face the consequences right up to being charged with manslaughter.
The Forests of Azure
Perhaps the small minority of people that have severe food allergies should always “bring their own” to ensure they are not compromised. I do feel sympathy for their plight, but to expect businesses to be responsible is asking a bit much.
