His Excellency Dr. Michael Zimmermann was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Austria to the Court of St. James’s.dr. Elisabeth Kornfeind was also received by Her Majesty. His Excellency Mr. David Gallagher was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Chile to the Court of St. James’s. Mrs. Sarita Crespo was also received by Her Majesty.
Her Honour Judy Foote was received in audience by The Queen upon her appointment as Lieutenant-governor of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Queen gave a Reception at Buckingham Palace this evening for recently retired and appointed Lordlieutenants.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel-inchief, which this morning received Major Bennett Lacey (Captain, The Royal Canadian Regiment Guard) at Windsor Castle.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall his morning departed from Accra Kotoka International Airport, Ghana, for Nigeria and were received this afternoon upon arrival at Abuja, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by the British High Commissioner to the Federal Republic of Nigeria (His Excellency Mr. Paul Arkwright) and Mr. Geoffrey Oneama (Nigerian Foreign Minister). Their Royal Highnesses were received later by The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Mrs. Buhari at the Presidential Villa. The Prince of Wales afterwards attended a Meeting with Nigeria’s Traditional Rulers at the Residence of the British High Commissioner in Abuja.
His Royal Highness later received Mr. Atiku Abubakar (the People’s Democratic Party) at the Hilton Transcorp Hotel, Abuja.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Reception given by the British High Commissioner to the Federal Republic of Nigeria at the Residence in Abuja.
The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon attended a Reception at the Salamander Café in Abuja. Her Royal Highness, President, the Southbank Centre’s WOW - Women of the World Festival, afterwards attended a discussion for women of influence, at the Thought Pyramid, Abuja.
The Duke of York this afternoon arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from China.
His Royal Highness, Patron, this evening held a Dinner at Windsor Castle for supporters of English National Ballet.
The Earl of Wessex, Chancellor, University of Bath, this morning held a Meeting.
The Countess of Wessex this morning attended a Commemoration Service at St. Martin-in-the-fields, Trafalgar Square, London WC2, to mark the Centenary of the end of the Great War and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa). Her Royal Highness afterwards visited the Queen Mother’s Clothing Guild Packing Week at St. James’s Palace.
The Countess of Wessex this afternoon opened the Thames Valley Air Ambulance Headquarters, Stokenchurch House, Oxford Road, Stokenchurch, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Buckinghamshire (Sir Henry Aubrey-fletcher, Bt.).
