Her Ex­cel­lency Mrs. Valentina Mar­inčić was re­ceived in au­di­ence by The Queen to­day and pre­sented the Let­ters of Re­call of her pre­de­ces­sor and her own Let­ters of Cre­dence as Am­bas­sador from Bos­nia and Herze­gov­ina to the Court of St. James’s. Mr. Željko Jerkić was also re­ceived by Her Majesty. Her Ex­cel­lency Mrs. Alek­san­dra Miovska was re­ceived in au­di­ence by The Queen and pre­sented the Let­ters of Re­call of her pre­de­ces­sor and her own Let­ters of Cre­dence as Am­bas­sador from the Repub­lic of Mace­do­nia to the Court of St. James’s. Sir Si­mon Mcdon­ald (Per­ma­nent Un­der-sec­re­tary of State for For­eign and Com­mon­wealth Af­fairs) was present. The Queen, Colonel-inchief, Corps of Royal Engi­neers, re­ceived Lieu­tenant Gen­eral Sir Mark Mans this af­ter­noon upon re­lin­quish­ing his ap­point­ment as Chief Royal Engi­neer and Lieu­tenant Gen­eral Ty­rone Urch upon as­sum­ing the ap­point­ment.

CLARENCE HOUSE

The Prince of Wales this morn­ing at­tended a Ser­vice of Com­mem­o­ra­tion at the Com­mon­wealth War Graves Com­mis­sion Me­mo­rial in Abuja, Nige­ria, and laid a wreath. His Royal High­ness this af­ter­noon at­tended a Meet­ing on ru­ral liveli­hoods, at the Na­tional Botan­i­cal Gar­dens, Abuja. The Prince of Wales af­ter­wards at­tended a dis­cus­sion on in­ter­com­mu­nal vi­o­lence, at the Residence of the Bri­tish High Com­mis­sioner in Abuja.

His Royal High­ness this evening ar­rived at Royal Air Force Brize Nor­ton from Nige­ria. Mr. Scott Fursse­donn-wood, Mrs. Eva Wil­liams, Pro­fes­sor Charles Deakin and Com­man­der Iain Kears­ley were in at­ten­dance. The Prince of Wales, Pa­tron, the Bat­tle of Bri­tain Fighter As­so­ci­a­tion, and The Duchess of Corn­wall were rep­re­sented by Air Chief Mar­shal Sir Stephen Dalton (formerly Chief of the Air Staff ) at the Me­mo­rial Ser­vice for Wing Com­man­der Thomas Neil (Bat­tle of Bri­tain vet­eran) which was held at St. Cle­ment Danes Church, Strand, Lon­don WC2, this morn­ing.
